Experience the beauty of New England as we embark on a leisurely bicycle ride from the heart of Lexington to the serene shores of Walden Pond. This enjoyable ride will offer stunning views of local landscapes and the chance to explore historic and natural treasures.

  • Scenic Journey: Enjoy a ~15 mile round trip ride on backroads.
  • Historic Battle Road Trail (only if work on trail is finished on time): Pass by notable sites connected to Lexington’s rich history, including landmarks from the American Revolution.
  • Walden Pond: Arrive at the tranquil Walden Pond, famously associated with Henry David Thoreau. Take some time to relax, soak in the natural beauty, and reflect by the water.

What to Bring:

  • A well-maintained bicycle that is suitable for riding on back roads and packed dirt.  It is not recommended to bring a thin tire road bike.
