The Hancock Environmental Action Team (HEAT) educates and advocates for ways to reduce our impact on the earth, whether it be personally, as a church community, or as a society. HEAT has been a leader in the effort to green the church and a source of ideas and enthusiasm for reducing the impact of our congregation and facilities on the environment. HEAT meets periodically.
